JYP recently introduced their newest girl group NMIXX (formerly known as JPYn). The group debuted with their single album ‘AD MARE’ and the song ‘O.O’ on the 22nd of February 2022. However, unlike how the previous JYP groups made their debut, the way NMIXX was introduced was slightly different.
Although NMIXX only debuted in February of 2022, JYP released a pre-order for their limited edition ‘blind package’ album in July. This pre-order period only lasted from the 16th of July 2021 to 25th of July 2021. Despite the short pre-order period and not much information out on the inclusions and group, the pre-order sales for NMIXX’s 1st Single Album ‘AD MARE’ Limited Edition Blind Package reached a total of 61,667 orders during its 10 day run.
After the pre-order period ended for the blind package albums, JYP started NMIXX’s pre-promotion project, which teased fans with various videos of the members through August to November of 2021. The efforts of the company definitely helped to build hype and attention surrounding the group, creating a large international following and anticipation for their debut.
In addition to their limited edition blind package version, NMIXX also released another version of the same album ‘AD MARE’ - the ‘Light’ version. This version was released on the 25th of Feburary 2022, a few days after their debut. In contrast to the limited edition version, this album only includes one photobook, one random photoocard, one CD and one sleeve cover.

On a side note for the ‘AD MARE’ Limited Edition Blind Package, once the pre-order period concluded for the album, the album would not be produced anymore. On top of it being limited edition, there is also a lucky draw chance to pull a polaroid from the sealed album. However, it should be noted that only 100 polaroids are available and are randomly included in the albums that were pre-ordered.
